“Blevins is a very good actor and I understand from Jeffrey Hornaday that he's also an excellent dancer. His acting is intuitive. He works very hard and was totally prepared both for his audition and, much more importantly, for when he was playing. He was absolutely at concert pitch."
SIR RICHARD ATTENBOROUGH, Oscar Winning Film Director, in his book A Chorus Line

"At times I have not been properly prepared. And I'm sure sometime in the future I will not be prepared. But, I know the value and importance of being fully prepared: I will do a far better job of dancing, acting, directing, rehearsing, creating choreography & teaching. Right now I will begin preparations for my next encounter with art."
~ Blev
“Dancing and singing are acting. It's all
acting. Coupled with dance training & vocal technique, of course.”
~GWEN VERNDON, 4-Time Tony Winner

Rave reviews for Blevins' production of NEWSIES at Centenary Stage Company:   "Much of the appeal of Newsies is the dancing. Michael Blevins, who also directed the show, did the choreography. As is common with Blevins’ shows, the dancing was brisk and acrobatic. The tap number at the beginning of Act II was especially robust."
